Im sure people will think its wrong to kill people, honestly an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind. I get that but seriously what use are people like that in the world? What good are they? What use do they have? They dont contribute to the function of the world. I honestly think if you hold no function in the world you have no reason to be here. If in some way you cant make the world a better place at some point in your life then you hold no value. Those people hold no value in our world and should be done with. So when Bush was govenor of Texas and was killing off the people on death row I was all for that. Id hope that if people werent getting 25 years for it to be figured out they fingered the wrong guy then maybe the system will get better and the wrong guy wouldnt be put in jail in the first place. With the technology we have today there is no reason people should be in there 25 years for something they didnt do...they shouldnt even be put in there in the first place and I think without all the years to be able to say "oh sorry we got it wrong, heres a million dollars hope that helps," then theres no reason for the system to make those kinds of error with a human life on the line like that.
Anyways thats where my mind is at right now. Not for any real reason actually. Alright then I think its bedtime for me. Its been a long day.
I actually mentioned to someone while in CA ((i want to say my cousin Andrea but I honestly dont remember) that I was definitely for the death penalty...they disagreed because it's not up to "us" to punish someone..it's up to God but Im obviously not concerned over that. On one of my trips down there during my pregnancy we watched a sort of documentary on one of the high security jails in the states and it was just ridiculous how much the officers has to watch themselves from the inmates because any little wrong move can even risk their life. They are the worst of the worst sort of people who are not afraid to kill innocent people and the whole time I sat there thinking, "what the hell???? why are we putting those officers in danger just to keep those "people" in jail for the rest of their lives?" I was mad by the time the show was over.
ReplyDeleteIt does really suck about cases that they've had innocent people locked up for life though...i genuinely feel extremely sorry for those people and that is def. something the system needs to correct.
Exactly. I understand most guards are former military and completely capable to protect themselves but geez there is no reason ruthless people like that should be alive. If they are willing to just kill to kill. If their sentence is so outrageous that another life sentence isn't going to matter then honestly what's the point? They are just taking up space and money that doesn't need to be wasted. When people who commit other crimes have to be released without paying the price because the jails are to full with douchebags that shouldn't be alive is beyond ridiculous.
